I saw this piece some time ago and remembered it as an amazing story. I started looking for it a couple of days ago for storytelling inspiration. Many thanks to @ralstonsmith for helping me find it!

  1. Awwww, that is so sad for him… I often wondered about that perspective: being elderly and the person you loved has passed away before you… I also loved the imagery and photography used. It was a great piece, A! Thanks for posting it!

  2. It was real. That’s what caught me. I think this was one of the first pieces I saw that showed me that you could bring a real story about life to people. His commitment and his love are undeniable.
